The Mondo Alliance program is our commitment to partnering and supporting only suppliers that meet our high standards of ethical and sustainable practices while providing the highest quality local produce.

There is no better example of this than our “White Rocks” Veal, a partnership started in 1989 between Mondo and the Partridge family from Brunswick Junction. Mondo has been processing and marketing White Rocks Veal for over 25 years. It is now an established international name in cities such as New York, Hong Kong, and Singapore, to name a few. 

Why Organic?

Mondo holds certification from Demeter as a Certified Biodynamic Organic Meat supplier. It makes Mondo the only meat wholesaler in WA currently registered to sell wholesale certified organic meat. Mondo has held this certification since 1997.

Certified Organic farming nurtures the land by making sure the soil is full of the required minerals and microbes for good pasture growth as well as ensuring that there is no Hormone Growth Promotants (HGPs), chemicals, or other synthetic additives used in the production process. 

Animal welfare is also considered at the highest levels, with livestock being maintained in low-stress environments with sufficient feed and water in the most natural and accessible setting.

Mondo truly embraces the principles of Certified Organic produce and environmental sustainability by ensuring that these principles and systems are incorporated into the fabric of the Mondo business.
